Sitting In Her Driveway, Panting In The Summer Heat, Crying When It Saw Her, It Tried To Walk But Could Only Manage A Couple Of Steps!

When she came home, she saw a kitten in her driveway, panting in the summer heat it was almost motionless. When it saw her, it cried and tried to walk toward her.

So hot, it was over 110 degrees Fahrenheit! Bree had come home from dinner with friends when she saw the tiny kitten. When the kitten saw her she meowed in desperation, apparently abandoned by her Mom she was very malnourished. She tried to walk toward Bree but could only manage a few steps!

With the Mother Cat nowhere to be seen, Bree took the kitten inside for food and a much-needed drink.

The next day Bree took the kitten to a vet for a thorough check-up and much-needed care.

Cloe, as she named her, was found to be covered in fleas and infested with internal parasites. Along with that, she was also severely malnourished, and dehydrated.

Bree was told by that vet that Cloe would most likely have died if she hadn’t brought her in! As it was she only weighed 7 ozs.

For the next couple of days, Cloe was bottle-fed around the clock. Never ever having had a cat made no difference to Bree, she was determined that this little kitten would survive.
