Mistaken For A Fur Hat He Was Found In A Lifeless State!
A cat discovered in a bin buried under heaps of trash is now making “remarkable progress,” according to veterinarians.
The male cat, named Asher, was found in a seemingly lifeless state by refuse workers who initially mistook him for a fur hat.
After receiving immediate medical attention, Asher was taken under the care of the RSPCA in Stourbridge, where he has been steadily recuperating and gaining weight.
Asher weighed a mere 2.5kg at the time of discovery but has shown incredible improvement, reaching 3.2kg within a week.

The RSPCA staff reported that he is gaining strength, capable of standing for longer durations, moving more actively, and independently grooming himself.
The Stourbridge and District RSPCA remarked on Asher’s transformation from a emaciated, malnourished feline to one regaining vitality and vigor, saying, “He’s gone from a starved, malnourished old boy to finally getting the spring back in his step.”
