As the years unfolded, the toll of street life became evident, rendering Mosey frail, with wet and matted fur, and struggling with basic activities.

His vulnerability increased, leading to bullying by other strays, prompting Nadia, a local animal rescuer, to intervene.

Under their care, Mosey, estimated to be at least six years old, underwent surgery to address various health issues, including a severely infected mouth. Despite losing numerous teeth, he recovered well and regained his appetite.

“We took him into our care. He was at least six years old. He was exhausted and miserable with battle wounds on his face. His coat was matted and caked in dirt. Years on the streets took a toll on him.”
