Rescuing Her From The Streets Was Enough, Little Did She Know She Was About To Be Repaid With Compound Interest!

For her rescuing her from the streets was enough, little did she know she was about to be repaid with compound interest.

Megyn, a kind-hearted soul, encountered Suzie at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, where Suzie, abandoned by her previous family, was found heavily pregnant and wandering the streets.

Recognizing the less-than-ideal environment of the shelter for raising kittens, Megyn generously offered to foster Suzie.

“At the onset of labor signs, Suzie caught my attention,” Megyn shared.

Suzie, grateful for her new surroundings, wasted no time and settled beside Megyn, showering her with purrs and affection, making biscuits on her face and grooming her entirely.

Suzie, an incredibly loving and nurturing mama, devotedly cared for all her kittens, keeping them clean, warm, and well-fed.

However, Suzie faced a challenge when she fell ill with panleukopenia about ten days after giving birth.

Megyn, familiar with the treatment protocol, acted swiftly, providing tests, medications, and round-the-clock care, ultimately saving Suzie’s life.

Miraculously, none of the kittens displayed symptoms.

“Suzie was a champ through her illness and never stopped caring for her babies. She loves them more than anything,” said Megyn.

At almost seven weeks old, the lively kitten crew explores their room, playing and keeping their mom on her toes.

Suzie, when not being a devoted mother, engages in lengthy conversations with her human friends, showcasing her sociable nature.

Having had multiple litters in her life, Suzie is now enjoying her last one.

Once the kittens are ready to venture out on their own, Suzie will retire and relish being a cat, exploring new places and basking in the love and care provided by her human companions.

Megyn considers Suzie a confident, glamorous, and intelligent feline, making their time together truly special.
