They Were Just About To Find Help For Her When They Find She Had Left Five Kittens On Their Porch!

After finding a stray cat had arrived on their property the homeowners were preparing to find help when they stumbled upon five kittens on their porch.

A gray cat arrived at a home right before Thanksgiving, visibly pregnant. Recognizing her condition, the compassionate homeowners quickly set up a makeshift shelter with a box and blankets to provide warmth and comfort.

Despite their impending vacation, the homeowners couldn’t bear to leave the pregnant cat without a secure refuge.

They promptly reached out to Coastal Bend Cat Rescue for assistance.

However, before they could receive a response, they were astonished to discover five tiny kittens nestled beside the cat on their porch.

“Before we could even answer the email, the finder emailed again that she had come home from errands to a much skinnier mama and five tiny babies,” shared Coastal Bend Cat Rescue.

The rescue organization wasted no time and rushed to pick up the mother, named Macarena, and her newborns.

Macarena, petite like a kitten herself, eagerly embraced her motherly duties, diligently caring for her demanding litter.

“She took great care of the babies but always left them immediately to get scratches and cuddles when her foster mom came in the room,” Coastal Bend Cat Rescue revealed.

As weeks passed, Macarena and her kittens – Cotton Eye Joe, Hokey Pokey, Hustle, Cha Cha Slide, and Conga – thrived under the watchful eyes of their foster family.

The once-adventurous kittens blossomed into joyful, playful, and confident companions.

When the time came for the kittens to venture into their next chapter, Macarena was spayed, anticipating the day she would become the center of attention in a loving forever home.

The feline family, with the assistance of Coastal Bend Cat Rescue and The Cattery Cat Shelter, found their forever homes where they will be cherished and spoiled endlessly.

“They danced their way into our hearts and were so fun to have in foster care.”

“We are so thankful that we had the resources to get this sweet family inside and warm,” Coastal Bend Cat Rescue expressed.
