So when a kind-hearted man happened to be walking past and saw the struggling kitten having trouble even finding his mother’s milk, he couldn’t stand by knowing the feral kitten was suffering.
Well aware the Mom was probably feral, he saw the kitten stumbling and bumbling about, completely blind. Thick scabs had formed over both his eyes, the result of a serious infection that would probably only get worse. Something would have to be done sooner rather than later to aid this wild kitten.
Worried the Mom might run off with her baby if he approached he would need to try a different approach.
“If I go close to them, I’m afraid the mother cat will run away with her baby,” he said.
Knowing full well hunger has a way of blunting fear and protective instincts he offers the family some food.
Soon lots of curious paws are making their way to the bowl of food, while the blind tabby kitten wanders around aimlessly, unable to find the source of the appetizing aromas.
While Mom and her babies are chowing down, rescue workers try to intervene and bring aid to the blind kitten. Mom, however, remains ever vigilant!
