After posting a rescue plea online, a dedicated team of volunteers swiftly mobilized to assist.

“Upon arriving at the scene, the mother cat had moved the babies to a neighboring yard, where they could be reached under the porch,” Celine of Chatons Orphelins Montreal shared.

Setting up a humane trap near the porch, the rescuers patiently waited. Before long, hunger drove the mother cat into the trap, where she was safely secured.

Upon arrival, a cozy space was prepared for the cats, but Hadora, the mother cat, appeared wary and uncertain.”After nearly 24 hours, she began eating from her foster mom’s hand, and a connection was built.”

As Hadora slowly acclimated to her new surroundings, her maternal instincts kicked in, and she devoted herself to caring for her precious kittens.

With diligent supervision from their foster mom, the kittens thrived, growing stronger each day.

“The foster mom watched the kittens every hour to ensure they were doing well. When some of them lost weight or stopped eating, she supplemented them with a bottle until they were strong enough to nurse again.”

Hadora is a devoted mother, spending the majority of her time nestled close to her precious litter of four kittens. Rarely does she stray from their side, her maternal instincts guiding her every move.

As soon as her foster mom enters the room, Hadora’s purr engine springs to life, filling the space with the soothing sound of contentment.

With gentle affection, she greets her human companion with sweet face rubs, expressing gratitude for the care and compassion bestowed upon her and her beloved kittens.

“There are three boys and one girl, Zuko (black), Bumi (gray tabby), Mako (brown tabby), and Azula (brown tabby). Zuko was the first to open his eyes, and Mako followed suit.”

The kittens eagerly wiggled and sniffed their way through their cozy nest.

Meanwhile, Hadora savored the security of her indoor home, relishing the love and care lavished upon her by her human companions.
