Defenseless He Is Dumped And When He Is Found It Is In The Worst Possible Condition!

The kitten whose story captured hearts around San Antonio is finally living the life he deserves!

Over a month ago, a tiny kitten is found dumped, not only dumped but dumped with his ears and tail cut off! He was found behind a car dealership and immediately taken in by the Humane Society for urgent care and attention.

The staff at the Humane Society gave the mutilated kitten the name Gunner and immediately cleaned and tread his wounds, even giving him laser therapy to help him heal.

Unfortunately, staff also found his ears and his tail had been removed, on purpose!

Once he had healed sufficiently, he was brought to a foster family who cared for him until he was quickly adopted by a loving family when his story quickly gained social media attention.

Gunner, now named Thor by his new family, is living “his best kitten life” after he was adopted on Nov. 1, according to the San Antonio Humane Society.

Covered in open wounds, they did what they could, however, the situation seemed hopeless!

Now, he spends his life playing, cuddling, and napping with his sister, a cat named Loki who was also adopted from the shelter.

“He is doing great in his new home,” Lucia Almanza, a spokesperson for the humane society, told KSAT. “We have followed up with his adopter, and his new mom shared that he is living his best kitten life.”

His new name is Thor, and he loves to play all day with his sister, Loki (another cat they also adopted from the SAHS). After they get tired of playing, they love to nap and cuddle together.
