After finding out that a litter of kittens was being given away on the web via a first come first serve basis, volunteers from Chatons Orphelins Montréal, Montreal, Canada, rushed across the city, hoping to be in time to save as many kittens as they could.
Volunteers, Milena and Maureen, soon arrived at the scene. Finding there were only two kittens left, which they soon rescued while offering to help the family get the poor cat moms spayed, so the cycle of unwanted kittens could be stopped.
“They weren’t weaned, so they went to their new foster parents, Emma and Joel, to finish weaning with other, kittens” the rescue shared.
After a visit to the vet for a quick checkup, the two kittens, Berlioz and Chopin arrived in their new foster home. Almost immediately, Emma and Joel soon saw how bonded the two tuxedo siblings were. Very close, they did everything together.
Having come from another home, the tuxedo twins took no time settling into their new home, soon having a ball with so many other kittens to play with.

–Blind and inseparable, all they had was each other as they try to survive on the streets.
“The two little ones have a lot of energy. Both love playing with their teeth and claws, we need to educate them,” the rescue said.
Berlioz, easily distinguished from his brother by his half mustache, is the larger of the pair and doesn’t mind a cuddle as long as there is nothing else to do.
Chopin, on the other hand, the quiet one, prizes cuddles above all else. In fact, if the tuxedo duo is not playing, they can always be found asleep somewhere snuggled up together.
“The two little ones are constantly following each other, they are like glued sleep,” said the rescue.
Quite often Berlioz will try to initiate play with his quieter brother by pouncing on him. Chopin really prefers to watch his brother play, which is good as Berlioz is not really one to share toys.
If they find themselves seperated from one another, lots of meowing usually begins, till they are back together again. They are not big fans of being shut behind closed doors, especially on their own.
Once back together again their purr engines are quickly engaged.
Happiest when they are together, the tuxedo twins are blossoming in foster care, growing in leaps and bounds while creating kitty mayhem whenever they are not fast asleep.
There was no way such close siblings could ever be separated. That being the case, it was hoped a forever would be found with lots of space for them to explore and have fun.
The best news was that this did not take long at all. In a little over a month after being rescued, the perfect home was found.
“Berlioz and Chopin were looking for a family that would adopt them together, they found them. The 2 little brothers have found their match,” said the rescue.
Berlioz and Chopin now have all the love and space they could ever need. More than enough room to grow, always together.
