Finding Homes For The Kittens And Getting Mom Spayed Was Going To Be No Easy Task Given Her Location!

He immediately made friends.

While Joanie went about patiently trying to catch the rest of the family, a good samaritan stepped forward to take the first kitten, Jules, to the rescue to get the care and attention he needed.

“A person who was going to Sainte-Justine with his child volunteered to take baby Jules, he did very well the entire 700 km in the car,” said Celine.

After being treated for intestinal parasites, he quickly found himself in his foster home, where he discovered how much fun feather toys could be!

“He immediately made friends with the other kittens, and his very sociable, he loves being surrounded by other cats and kittens,” Celine added.

He loved being pampered by his foster moms Geraldine and Mai-Lyn, turning into quite the snuggle buff.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, Joanie managed to trap the two remaining kittens, Junot and Jass, who soon found themselves making the long trip to Montreal to see their brother.

After being treated for worms, they were reunited with Jules and immediately recognized him. Soon playing as though they had never been apart.

Not only did Joanie trap all the kittens, she also managed to trap mom and dad, who will soon be fixed then move back to the barn when they have recovered.

There they have their home and will be well fed and kept warm in the winters to come.

The kittens meanwhile are settling well into life in their foster home.

Jules is the most outgoing of the trio, growing more and more confident day by day. Junot, almost his identical twin, follows his lead wherever he goes. While Jass, the most observant, watches the proceedings from the safety of his favorite hiding place, as he slowly comes out of his shell.

Because of Joanie and the volunteers at Chatons Orphelins, these brothers are now living the VIP life. They will never have to scrounge for food, worrying where their next meal is coming from.

They live in a warm house, not a cold barn, and spend their days playing, sleeping, and watching bird TV.
