Noticing the growing activity and curiosity of the kittens, the workers decided to secure a safe place for them. They reached out to the local animal rescue, Puppy Kitty NY City, seeking help for the feline family.
The rescue’s volunteers swiftly arranged for a foster home. Alyssa, an experienced foster caregiver, warmly welcomed the cat mom, Glory, and her trio of kittens into her care.
They were provided with a comfortable and well-equipped room, making them feel right at home.
Glory, the devoted mother, immediately adapted to her new environment, enjoying the comforts provided.

Having been a diligent caregiver for her trio, she needed nourishment herself, and Alyssa made sure she received the care she deserved.
In the same foster home, Alyssa had also taken in a tiny orphaned tabby kitten named Honey, who was much smaller than her age should indicate.
Alyssa had been bottle-feeding and showering Honey with love, but the little one yearned for the affection of a mother.
Observing the potential for a bond, Alyssa introduced Honey to Glory and her kittens.
The integration was a heartwarming success, as Glory embraced Honey as part of her family, nursing and caring for her along with her biological offspring.
“We took in a kitten that was an orphan, and Glory has pitched in to help nurse her,” Alyssa shared.
Glory’s motherly instincts were evident as she tended to all her babies, ensuring they were well-fed and clean.
“She is super sweet, friendly and dedicated to caring for her kittens and her ‘adopted’ baby, Honey.”
The loving feline family grew closer each day, with Honey receiving supplemental feedings while nursing alongside her siblings.
The bigger kittens gladly accepted their smaller sister, teaching her the ways of play and feline interactions.
As they grew, they explored their environment, developing their skills and mischief-making abilities.
“I upgraded their space so they can explore more and for Glory to have more room to stretch out. She is such a good mama, but I can see she wants so much love.
Over time, the kittens will be spayed and neutered, and Glory will also receive the attention she deserves.
For now, they continue to enjoy their blissful moments together, cuddling up on Glory’s belly after their playful escapades.
Alyssa finds great joy in witnessing the kittens’ first experiences and Honey’s determination despite being smaller than her siblings. The foster home has become a place of love, care, and growth, nurturing the adorable feline family.
