Late one night a volunteer for Flatbush Cats, Brooklyn, New York, found a badly injured cat outside. He could see she was clearly in pain, with the help of the rest of the team, he spent several hours trying to trap her.
With a lot of hard work and a huge dose of patience they were eventually successful and took her to a vet to have the wound checked out.
Over seven months old she was petrified and practically past the point of socialization with humans.
