While on a TNR (trap-neuter-return) program in Carson City, California a rescuer spots a tiny kitten wandering along the street. It was clear he was hungry, but he was also very shy and covered in flea dirt.
About four weeks old, this micro-kitten could easily fit into your palm as he was about the size of a one-week-old kitten.
The co-founder of Wrenn Rescues, Alissa Smith, learned of his situation and offered to help rescuers. Foster volunteer Erin welcomed him into her home with arms wide open.

Erin and her son Chris, 11 years of age, had to take turns feeding mice around the clock. He was also given lots of TLC along with every meal, crawling onto Erin’s chest and purring as loud as he could into her ear.
