Only Six Days Old, In Critical Condition, A Tiny Micro-Kitten Was Going To Need All Their Skills Just To Stay Alive!

She was only six days old, half the size of a newborn this mico-kitten was going to need very specialized care.

So tiny she could fit into your palm with ease. A tiny neonatal kitten needed specialized care and attention so had to be transferred to Nova Cat Clinic in Arlington, Virginia. After the staff at Arlington Welfare League could see her condition was not improving. This little micro-kitten weighed in at a mere 50 grams at only one week old.

Despite her diminutive size, there was no doubting this newborn was a little fighter. Ellen Carozza, a Feline Licensed Veterinary Technician at Nova Cat Clinic, made the decision to place her into their charity program, the Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Fund. The fund is aimed at helping cats and kittens in critical need.
