Genetic Chimera cats are created through a very rare though natural occurrence. This is when one individual cat is made up of cells from two different original eggs. The eggs in essence fuse together to become one single individual living organism with DNA from two completely different individual organisms. A one of kind, completely unique cat.
Quimera, the cat below, might be a mosaic cat, which is when one individual egg just so happens to have two genetic expressions in its cells, this is a lot more common in cats. The only way to find this out would be to do genetic testing to find the real answer. Either way, she truly is a beautiful cat.
