Anyone who has lost a pet knows how painful it can be, however, many people need to realize its equally painful for furry siblings as well.
As was the case with Alesana and Sen, two completely inseparable furry friends who spent most of their daily life doing almost everything together.
Fate, however, was to deal feline friends a cruel blow when 8-year-old Alesana was diagnosed with cancer. On Christmas morning she succumbed to the disease leaving the whole family in tears, Sen didn’t know what to do with herself.

She couldn’t understand why she was no longer around, why she was suddenly on her own. How can you explain to a cat where her best friend is gone? It was clear how much she missed her.
“I think Sen knows she is gone,” Emma said to The Dodo. “She often sits at my window next to my front door just looking out for hours on end. She will also walk around the house looking into rooms where Alesana would often sit.”
Two days after her passing the family received her ashes, paw prints, and some of her fur.
When Emma received the fur she had an idea on how to help Sen cope with the passing of her dear friend.
