A kind-hearted individual rescued him from an encounter with another animal, ensuring his safety and well-being.
“Finn was lucky to be alive, but did not escape unscathed. His front right leg was severely broken. The finders took him in, made a makeshift splint and started reaching out to rescues for help,” Caroline Grace, founder of Baby Kitten Rescue, shared.
“When we were contacted about Finn, we immediately agreed to take him into our care.”
Upon learning of Finn’s plight, Baby Kitten Rescue promptly took him under their care.

Urgently, Finn was transported to an animal hospital. X-rays unveiled a broken humerus bone. Swiftly, Dr. Jacobo at Primary Care Animal Hospital performed emergency surgery.
“Despite Finn only being 3.5 weeks old and 0.6 lb, Dr. Jacobo successfully operated on Finn and pinned his broken leg back together.”
An external fixator was attached to secure the pins (to be removed once healed). Astonishingly, Finn was up and about the day after his discharge, displaying his strength by engaging in play.
Finn, with his fiery spirit, refused to let his size hinder his zest for life. Even as they searched for a fitting cone for him, he faced challenges with unwavering determination.
“We were amazed by how strong and resilient he was after this surgery. He healed so smoothly and within a week was using his leg again.”
The hunt for a suitable cone proved challenging due to Finn’s diminutive stature.
After experimenting with various options, they stumbled upon a brilliant solution—guinea pig cones, which fit him perfectly.
Upon donning his new Elizabethan collar, Finn embraced life’s joys, playing energetically and even attempting to lend a paw with a phone.
Despite the initial sizing issues, Finn’s unstoppable nature shone through.
Throughout his ordeal, Finn’s spirit remained unbroken. He exuded sweetness, playfulness, and happiness, embodying resilience despite the trials he endured, the pins in his leg, and the cone he sported.
Finn’s zest for life extended to his interactions with other feline friends.
He shared a heartwarming companionship with resident cat Chester, and his playful nature remained unbounded.
“It’s so sweet to watch them discover each other and start to develop a friendship.”
