Cricket was in such poor health that vets thought he would never survive!
Around five months old he was half the weight he should be for a cat his age and almost bald. To top it off he was under-developed to the point where his front legs were bowed, vets attributed this to his severe malnourishment.
Everyone was heartbroken to see the condition of this poor kitten, so weak and helpless, cricket was on the point of death.
However, the Battersea staff weren’t going to give up on Cricket. So every effort went into setting Cricket on the path to full health.
Thankfully, Cricket responded to the love and care he was receiving, in the process transforming into a loving, highly affectionate kitten.
