One Day They Run For Cover Leaving One Behind, Who, Extremely Ill, Can No Longer Move!

After appearing in her yard week after week a couple of months ago the clowder of kittens run for cover leaving one behind who cannot keep up.

A few months ago, a Tampa Bay lady, had been keeping an eye on a cloud of kittens that would hang out in her yard, running for cover at first sight of a human.

Until one day, they again took off, leaving one kitten behind, who, looking extremely ill and lethargic, was unable to keep up.

The kindhearted lady immediately plucked the sickly feline to safety and made contact with AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue.

“Since this kitten is clearly not feeling well she didn’t run, so she was scooped up and placed in a carrier, then delivered to me. She’s emaciated, weighing 1Ib at 8 weeks old, that’s half of what she should weigh, has a kitty cold, eye infection, anemic from fleas and was cold when she arrived.”

AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue wasted no time finding a foster home for the sickly kitten in the form of foster mom, Nadija.

“Once she warmed up, I cleaned her face and she ate some food. She’s been napping for 4 hours and purring while occasionally making biscuits too. I think she’s feeling safe and probably a teeny tiny bit better already.”

Quickly named Natalie, the cute calico awoke the next morning in an exceedingly good mood, looking for head bumps and cuddles. Basically any attention she could get.

And things only got better when her siblings were rescued and quickly transported to their new home.

“Reunited and it feels so good! Everyone is doing so well and has settled in nicely. They are eating, drinking, using their cozy beds, and are almost flea free (capstar and revolution is doing it’s thing),” said Nadija.

As was the case with Natalie, all of the siblings were suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection. However, antibiotics were helping to clear up the infection, and being reunited meant everyone was in good spirits.

The four siblings spent the next few days reacquainting themselves with one another, snuggling, cuddling, and of course, playing.

“Sydney! This sweet little angel LOVES belly rubs and rolls over anytime you pet her. She’s an expert biscuit maker and loves to squeeze in the middle of a cuddle puddle anytime she can!”

“Carmy! This little guy is very vocal, outgoing, curious and so brave!”

“He loves his brother Richie and is always snuggling or wrestling with him!”

“Richie! This guy is the biggest out of the bunch and a big softie that will hiss the second something spooks him!”

“But then with some snuggles quickly starts purring again.”

Though these four siblings had a less than pleasant start to life, things had now taken a 180° turn, as they are now living their best lives.

In fact, once she had recovered from her illnesses, Natalie, found her forever home alongside her friend, Archie, a cat she had become close to her.

While Natalie is now living her best life, so are her siblings, living their lives to the full while they too, wait for their forever homes.
