A Pennsylvania family is home one day when they realize their house is on fire after their neighbor entered their garage torching the car!
They call the fire department right away before escaping the house, thankfully unharmed. Firefighters are able to put out the fire before it completely damages their home. However, while putting out hot spots and clearing debris they hear the unmistakable sound of an animal crying in pain.
“We were actually pulling debris and garbage out of the fire and heard meowing underneath a shelf,” Stroud Township Volunteer Firefighter Matthew Smalley told WNEP News Station.
They find a kitten missing part of an ear and large chunks of fur!
