Even As The Rain Poured Down, When The Kitten Showed The Slightest Hesitation, She Gently Encouraged The Tiny Orphan To Follow Her Home!

She became concerned when her dog did not return from her potty break. When she took a look out the window to check on her she soon saw why.

It all happened one day when Monica Burks let her beloved dog Hazel, a Yorkie, Chihuahua, and Poodle mix, out for her regular potty break. When Hazel did not return in her usual timely manner Monica took a look out the window and saw Hazel was returning home with a little friend in tow. Hazel, it would seem, had not come home alone!

Living in Abilene, Texas, Monica is no stranger to being surprised by her little dog, however, this was a real first.

While on her potty break Hazel had come across an abandoned kitten hiding under a shed. Even as the rain poured down she refused to budge, coaxing the tiny kitten out of hiding.

She had then decided to help the little stray even further by encouraging it to come home with her. Each time the kitten hesitated the slightest bit, Hazel would stop and encourage it to follow her.

Despite the heavy downpour she was determined to help the tiny feline out.
