Going out to the dumpster to take out the trash they open the lid and her tiny meows coming from within!

Around 3.00 am Dessy and Stoyan are in the process of dumping their trash in a dumpster when they hear some tiny meows coming from somewhere inside.

After clearing some bags they find a shoebox, inside are two newborn kittens.

The garbage truck usually comes to collect the trash at around 5 am, so these two kittens are lucky the couple had dumped their trash when they did.

It was a cold night, how long the two babies had been inside the dumpster was anybody’s guess?

Dessy and Stoyah live in Bulgaria, a country where unfortunately this sort of thing is not uncommon, especially in kitten and puppy season.

Newborn kittens are found in all sorts of things, from boxes to plastic bags or even worse.

Caring people do what they can, but most don’t survive.

So they took the kittens home and put them in a warm place, not far from four other abandoned kittens that they had rescued recently.

Once the kittens had warmed up they began the task of feeding them every two hours.

One was a boy and the other was a girl, they thought they were around 10 days old. Soon their eyes will be open and they will need to choose names for the siblings.

I know that this caring couple will do their best to ensure that these kittens will survive.

Stoyan and Dessy are a couple that lives in Bulgaria. They spend a lot of time looking out for the stray cats in their neighborhood and hope to one day build a shelter so that they can step up their care program. Everything they provide for the cats comes from their own pockets or with the help of donations from their YouTube subscribers.
