They found him in the garden, so tiny, too young and fragile they didn’t think he would survive, but when he saw the bottle he grabbed it.
Roughly one month ago a Montreal family, Canada, found the tiniest kitten all alone in their garden. Somehow he had gotten lost and his Mom had never come back for him. So young, so tiny and very fragile, things did not look very promising for him, he only weighed in at 80 grams.
Genevieve quickly took him inside, what she did next probably saved this young felines life. She could see that if he was going to have any chance at life he would require around the clock feeding. She was determined to at least try and save his life.
Giving him the name Loky, she, first of all, made him as warm and comfortable as possible, then rushed to the nearest store to purchase a kitten sized bottle and the right kitten milk replacer.
She fed Loky every two hours without fail, showing him the love and comfort his own mother would have, had she not lost him. With the correct milk replacer, and constant cuddles he made it through that first night and perked right up the following day.
Perking up so much so, that throughout the next few days he would practically shout for his bottle at feeding time, drinking like there was no tomorrow, he quickly gained weight.
