The Plan Was To Find The Orphaned Kitten A New Home. However, The Very Next Morning, That Plan Was Hastily Changed!

Driving home one night she saw a woman and her daughter looking at a tiny kitten alone on the sidewalk!

Shara Platt was driving home after work one night 3 weeks ago when she saw a woman and her daughter looking down at a tiny kitten on the sidewalk? Just as she was about to take the on-ramp onto the freeway, she pulled over. Something didn’t seem, right?

“They said they had been looking around for a mama cat or any other kittens and couldn’t find anything. The kitten was in front of a house with a wall so she couldn’t have come from that house. Next door was a car wash and the house on the other side was dark. It’s not a neighborhood to safely go door to door. Leaving her would mean almost certain death as she was just a few feet from a very busy road and she is tiny. There was no way I was leaving her there!”

Sharrah had made a good decision, the woman and her daughter were worried, she had done the right thing by stopping.

Sharrah’s plan after taking the kitten home had been to keep the little tyke overnight and then contact a rescue group that would eventually find her a new home. However, the very next morning that plan was to change.

Careful introductions were made between the kitten and the family dogs. Unexpectedly, the dogs showed a genuine, yet friendly interest in the new houseguest. Perhaps they would all get along?

Because of this, a decision was soon made to take, Crenshaw, as the kitten was called, for a checkup with a local vet. A clean bill of health was soon provided and Crenshaw was brought back home. The next day would be huge for cats and dogs alike.
