After Plucking Her to Safety, They Didn’t Realise She Was Leaving Her Newborn Babies Behind!
They had given the little tabby the rather appropriate name Pikachu.
Taken to Wrenn Rescues he received the medical attention he needed.
When he was ready he would need a foster home in which to recover.
“I don’t think he would have lived another day or 2. He also had lice and fleas,” said Ashely.
Once he was treated for parasites and medically cleared, he was ready to meet Ripley.
Not backward in coming forwards, Ripley took a liking to Pikachu almost immediately. Pikachu on the other hand was not quite so forthcoming.
His new friend, however, was not going to have it any other way.
Ripley is so excited, but Pikachu is unsure!
He soon let his guard down though and the two were playing as though they had been friends for life.
As a pair they truly complimented each other, growing stronger every day. Which was good as they needed to gain weight to have their spay and neuter operations.
“They are quiet, they are really well-behaved, and they keep each other entertained constantly,” said Ashley.
Every morning they make their wants and needs known. Though one does appear to be a bit more of a morning person than the other. Just look at those faces and you’ll see what I mean!
Soon they had put on weight and had their spay and neuter surgery, which went well. Now the young pair are ready for adoption.
Ashely will give priority to those would-be parents who want to adopt them as a pair.
While they are very happy and content in their foster home this fun-loving pair would love a forever home of their very own.
