Chichi was then taken right back to the vet! 

No longer able to care for her kittens, at least she got to spend some more quality time with them.

“She went in for an exam and was found to have no more milk. I’m choosing to not be sad about Chi Chi leaving. I’m choosing to be happy that she survived that life-threatening illness last week, that she got to see her 4 beautiful kittens,” Barb said.

Barb happily took back her role as caregiver and continued the bottle feedings until they started to gain weight, and it wasn’t long before they were fighting over who got to eat first!

Growing quickly, the kittens were putting on weight at a rapid weight. Milk mustaches were gradually replaced by cute little faces covered in wet food.

Bergie, Mandarin, Kumquat, and Pommie continued to blossom and would soon be up for adoption.

And it’s all because they along with their caregiver refused to give up!

Thank goodness Chichi got to spend some more time with her kittens. Something that was good for both her and her kittens.

After a rough start, things are now well and truly looking up for Chichi. Finally, she will live the life she deserves.
