Her Decision To Sneak Back In Two Weeks Later, And Deliver Her Kittens, Might Just Have Saved Her Life!

“She got a bad infection with a fever of 105 degrees (40.6°C).

“Unfortunately Mama Magnolia is at the vet with an infection and a high fever of 104. It’s down from 105.2 that she had this morning though and she’s being treated with antibiotics,” said Sara.

The kittens are at @the_crazy_cat_fam temporarily while Mama Magnolia was being treated. Needing to be fed around the clock, they are having a hard time feeding adjusting to feeding on a bottle. Everyone has their fingers crossed for a full recovery.

Thankfully, Magnolia made a full recovery. However, because she was at the vet for around a week, she is no longer producing enough milk for her babies. So Sara has to supplement with bottle feeding. The good news is the kittens have made a big improvement in that department!

“These kittens used to HATE the bottle and now they’re walking up asking for more! This was the second time around even!”

Mama Magnolia has been a great Mom and has done a great job raising her kittens. She has also made a big impression on Sara.

“I love this sweet girl so much. She has been an amazing mama and I can’t wait for her to be adopted and live a quieter vip life without all these crazy kittens, she’s definitely ready for a vacation! Haha!”

Soon all her kittens had found their forever homes, and Magnolia had her surgery to be spayed. There would be no more raising kittens for her.

Soon she was ready to be adopted too.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to say that Magnolia has been adopted! We’re not quite sure if @elaine.ortyl chose Maggie or if Maggie chose Elaine, either way, it was love at first sight,” said Sara.
