She Knew They Were Meant To Be Together And Nothing Was Going To Stand In Her Way To Stop Her From Making It A Reality!

She felt they were meant to be together and was determined to make it happen no matter what!

A few months ago, a newborn calico kitten was rescued from a very dangerous situation, after being found during a TNR project in Ontario, Canada.

Her mom had given birth to three kittens, two of which unfortunately didn’t make it. Due to Mom’s super feral nature and history of neglectfulness with previous litters, it was thought better to rescue the last surviving kitten and bring her to safety rather than put her life at risk.

Plucked to safety, she was brought to Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue, Ontario, Canada, for the best chance at a new life. Sweet but sassy, they noticed right away how talkative she was, making her demands well known in advance of feeding time.

Once she had learned how to latch onto the bottle she also quickly learned how to take regular breaks to make air muffins.

She ate like a champ up until she was about three weeks old, when she began to eat a little less as her teeth came on and began to bother her.

Only three days old she finds herself on her own with no one to turn to for help!

“I decided to give her a soft fabric mouse toy to chew on while I’m supervising her,” said Mellissa, founder of Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue.

Lucy was absolutely loving her incubator time. When she gets too tired she cries and askes to be carried back to it.

“After each bottle but after a while, she gets tired and cries to go back into her little kitten sauna.”

By the time Lucy was four weeks old she had reached one pound in weight, and was beginning litter box training. As a singleton, she was also demanding more and more time from Melissa.

As luck would have it she was also hearing the tiny meows of a new arrival.
