Clearly In Pain, Carrying A Badly Wounded Leg, He Limps To Their Door Crying For Help!

The stray stayed at the clinic under observation.

Understandably Walters’s new feline friend stayed at the vet clinic for a few days for observation, just to make sure he responded to treatment.

“On February 27, I went to the clinic again. After the cleansing, I took him home. And we continued the antibiotic treatment, we gave him intramuscular injections two times a day for 5 days.

At first, he couldn’t put any weight on his left rear leg. I cleansed the wound with antiseptics 3 times a day. He cleansed the wound with his tongue 30 times a day.”

Within a short time, the cat started to feel better. “Then he started to run,” wrote Santi.

“At the end of the five-day treatment, we went to the vet again. She said the wound looked fine and we stopped the antibiotics.

The cat was ready to go outside because it was March and it was very difficult to keep him indoors so we let him out.

“Now he lives in our garden with other cats.” Forty days later, and the orange cat is very much at home with his adoptive family.

Santi added jokingly, “As you can see, the cat was very busy chasing females.” The cat sure picked the right people to ask for help! We need more people in the world like Walter!
