Once the kittens were well on the road to good health, it was felt it was time to introduce them to someone special. His name is Harrow, an older foster cat whose heart has lots of room for orphaned kittens.

Harrow was found in the streets in very bad shape, initially very guarded he had come out of his shell when he was first placed with foster kittens.

Ever since that day, Alley Cat Rescue has been using his healing paws to help kittens in need of lots of love.

Harrow took them all under his paw and started giving them all a bath. The first time he has done this with a new litter of kittens.

Being able to cuddle with an adult cat made a huge difference to the entire litter. Especially to the smallest kitten who was struggling the most.

“Of course Harrow took little baby Noel under his paw! He now purrs constantly and she has stopped crying too,” said a representative from Alley Cat Rescue.

With Harrow’s love and attention, Noel began to make some gains.

“Noelle is gaining weight steadily and loving her bottles and hanging with Grandpa,” said Alley Cat Rescue.

In fact, all the kittens were now thriving under the senior cat’s care.

It was almost like having a Mom, having someone you can come back to for snuggles and cuddles after fun and play.

Because of Grandpa Harrow, these kittens can grow up under the love and attention they need as he teaches them all about being cats in preparation for their forever homes.
