She was found on the streets with a seriously injured leg. The tiny stray was brought into Lake County Animal Shelter in Tavares, Florida.
Despite a serious injury, she was full of life and eager for attention with no fear of humans. A stray kitten with a badly injured leg was brought into the Lake County Animal Shelter in Tavares, Florida. She was very curious and very very hungry all at the same time, however, in her best interests, a hard decision would have to be made.
“The vet decided that the leg would have to be amputated,” Emily Blythe, said staff member at the shelter.
Giving her the name Morgan, the curious little Tuxedo kitten quickly bounced back from the surgery.
Soon she was adjusting to a new life on all three paws, inspecting every nook and cranny she could find.
Emily decided to foster the tiny feline so she could fully recover in a loving environment. She cleaned the wounds left from surgery on a daily basis and introduced Morgan to one of her resident cats, Runt.
