He was even starting to play!

“He is a perfect house guest and would be best suited to someone willing to take the time to socialize with him regularly,” said Noelle.

Champ was beginning to enjoy some lap time too, though it needed to be first initiated by a human.

“Look at how far this little guy has come… His jaunty ears are everything. Really happy he has a lifetime of play and love ahead of him thanks to the work,” Noelle added.

After two months in their care, Noelle and Brian had to say goodbye to their houseguest.

Under their care, Champ had blossomed into a perfect, though slightly timid housecat.

The once feral cat had gone from being down on his luck and living in fear to being a healthy senior who loves lap time and lots of cuddles.

A wonderful couple had been found for him in Oregon. So all Noelle and Bran had to do was prepare Champ for the flight.

“We are off to deliver him to his new forever home in Portland, Oregon, and we could not be happier,” said Noelle.

Champ was soon on his first-ever flight!
