When She Came Back He Woke To The Sound Of Her Voice, Walked Right Her, Acting As If She Were A Long Lost Friend!

Right away she knew he didn’t belong on the streets, he deserved a loving home!

When she heard about a stray cat who had been wandering the streets of Brooklyn, New York for years, Gissell (@pawsofhopenyc), a volunteer for NYCCC, wanted to meet him. She also decided to bring along some food.

Arriving at one of his favorite haunts, she found him curled up in front of a homeless shelter. After calling out to him, he awoke to the sound of her voice and sauntered up to her as though they were long lost, friends. Very friendly all this boy really wanted was a little attention.

Gissell knew straight off the bat this boy didn’t belong on the streets, he deserved to be in a loving home.

She began right there and then to formulate a plan for getting him off the streets and into a foster home.

When she came back he was nowhere to be seen? Calling out once again, he appeared, this time running, excited to see her.

“Today is your day. You have waited long enough,” Gissell said to the big tabby boy.

She placed him in a carrier and gave him some more food, then took him home and called Little Wanderers NYC, a local rescue group to see if they could help.
