A Litter Of Newborn Kittens Find Themselves With Three Highly Unlikely Though Highly Protective Guardians!

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know cats and dogs have been bitter rivals since the dawn of time. Though from time to time there are exceptions to this rule!

Their bitter enmity has been the stuff of legends, so it is quite understandable when at times many households get nervous introducing their canine and feline pets, especially when its a litter of newborn kittens.

There are however at times exceptions to every rule, even times when dogs and cats can become the best of friends. As was the case when two golden retrievers and one hairy husky were introduced to a litter of newborn kittens.

A video of this canine trio loving on these newborn kittens has gone viral because of how completely adorable it is!

The owner of these dogs must have known how good they were going to be with kittens otherwise he never would have considered introducing the dogs to the little felines so early!

The kittens are so young they haven’t even opened their eyes yet! Their Mom is so trusting with the dogs a well!

The newborns were placed on a blanket, completely helpless at this age the dogs became like gentle giants. In fact, all three dogs walked on eggshells right from the beginning, gently sniffing the new arrivals. The golden retrievers even gave the kittens space on the blanket, preferring instead to lay down around the blanket. The Huskey more curious than his other two friends got on the blanket to take a closer look.

The kittens are so brand new that their owner has to feed them through a syringe!

After the initial introduction is over, the dogs still seem highly interested in the kittens. All putting their heads on the sides of the birthing box to take a look. They seem highly protective of the newborns. The kittens can clearly smell the dogs as one tries its best to get as close as it can to one of the golden retrievers.
