Out On Her Daily Rounds, She Finds A Sick Kitten. Knowing His Chances Were Slim, She Gently Takes Him In Her Jaws And Carries Him All The Way Home!

Cats and dogs, the long-running debate on the enmity between these two breeds has become somewhat of a stereotype.

However, things are sometimes not as bad as many would have us believe. Think Garfield and Otis, Looney Tunes, etc, the cold calculating somewhat dismissive cat versus the sweet loving dog somewhat lacking in intelligence.

A theme we have seen repeated on film and TV over and over, just about ever since it has been invented.

However, as with many things Television would have us believe, this enmity between the species is not always the case. In fact, there are many occasions when it has quite simply been busted.

There are many times when cats and dogs are more than happy to live together, quite often in very close, even loving relationships. As is the case with a Golden Retriever and a tiny stray kitten she found struggling, losing his battle to survive on the streets.

It would seem while out doing her daily rounds she came across the little orphan. Not wanting to leave him, she simply took him gently in her jaws and carried him home.

When the dog’s owner found his dog carrying the kitten he checked the area looking for a Mom and or siblings. It appeared, however, that this kitten was all on his own.

He quickly got to work cleaning the kitten and giving him his first decent meal. Around the clock, care was required for this little feline, and his new doggy Mom stayed by his side throughout.
