“The little hard belly that we thought was filled with worms, actually had 4 to 5 babies in their stomach… Vivia was a minimum of 1 month pregnant,” said Celine Crom from Chatons Orphelins.
Needless to say, Vivia wasn’t spayed, Chatons Orphelins made arrangements with Vivia’s new foster Mom Meliisa and she soon found herself in a quiet room. A room she had all to herself so she could get prepared for her babies.
‘She found her little nest, she slept a lot and purred easily, she was ready,” said Celine.
On July 13, Mama Vivia gave birth to five beautiful healthy kittens, inside a safe home away from the elements.
All big eaters there was nothing wrong with the kitten’s appetites and they soon began putting on weight.
By now Vivia had well and truly come out of her shell and trust is no longer an issue. She purrs up a storm whenever anyone from her foster family is around.
No longer having to bring up her kittens on the streets is the best news of all.
The four girls were given the names Caprie, Napolia, Sienna, and Amalfie, the only boy was named Palermo.
He stands out from his sisters in more ways than one.
Because as well as being the only boy, he is also the only ginger and something of a character.
Now completely at home with her foster family, Vivia is able to watch her kittens grow in complete safety.
