Skin And Bone She Sat On The Fringes, Always Waiting For The Other Stray Cats To Finish, Soon She Realized Who She Was Protecting!

Wanting to rescue a starving stray cat she soon found she was getting far more than she bargained for!

Stef, an animal rescuer based in Montreal, Canada was out feeding stray cats in a residential area made up mainly of Condos, when she spotted a very shy cat, little more than skin and bone, sitting on the fringes.

Keeping an eye on her, she noticed she would always wait for the other stray cats to finish eating and drinking before daring to get too close. As a result, she was always the last one to eat.

Stef saw the pretty little tabby returning day after day looking for scraps left over by the other cats.

Noticing she was little more than skin and bone it soon became apparent that the food Stef was bringing was her only source of survival.

Something needed to be done before it was too late, so Stef decided to try and trap her.

Once Stef was home she placed the tabby in the bathroom. Finding herself in a completely strange new environment she was terrified. The sudden change was just too overwhelming so she hid in a bathroom closet, refusing to come out. Despite being hungry she didn’t eat a morsel of food for two days, even though it was easily within reach.

Driven by hunger, one day she cautiously crept out of hiding and made a b-line for her food bowl, wolfing down the contents in no time at all.

Able to get a closer look, Stef immediately noticed how young she was, Little more than a teenager. Giving her the name Vivia, little by little the tiny tabby began to relax, allowing Stef to get closer and closer.

Soon she was even allowing Stef to touch her! This was something she grew to enjoy very much, purring up a storm. Now that Stef had gained a level of trust with Vivia she made arrangements with the vet to have her spayed.

However, during the consultation, Vivia had a surprise for everyone.
