Cat Is Spotted With A Human Face Mask With Eyeholes Cut To Protect It Against The Coronavirus.

As China continues to try and contain the coronavirus outbreak, many cat and dog owners are trying to protect their pets with makeshift masks after fake news leaked that it is also spread by animals.

The coronavirus has a new strain ( 2019-nCoV or Covid-19), that has taken the lives of over 1,100 people and infected over 45,000 more on the Chinese mainland. Globally 395 other cases has been confirmed, with one person dying in the Philippines.

There is no evidence to suggest that anyone can catch the disease from a pet. Nor can any pet of any species catch the virus, however, this has not stopped a fake news story from spreading that pets are spreading the disease. Resulting in many pets being thrown from high rise buildings, plummeting to their deaths!

More sensible owners though are attempting to take precautions by placing makeshift masks over their pet’s faces. Or by buying ready-made pet face masks, sending sales soaring in China.
