“Hey y’all! Important announcement. When the kittens are wee, it can be hard to tell their sex. When Jacinda came in at 3 days, the shelter staff thought she was a girl. But as J’s bits have grown, it’s become clear she’s a he! So, how do y’all think we should adjust J’s name? Jacindo? Jack? Jay?”

The name Jacindo was chosen and this new discovery she was a he all made sense in a way. Especially in the food consumption department.

One thing that had always impressed Susie was Jacinda’s appetite! Now she knew why.

As a teenager, he just didn’t eat his meals he inhaled them.

“J is entering the teenage boy phase of bottle feeding, in which he inhales an entire pizza in one sitting,” Susie said.

As he continued to grow Susie received some sad news. As part of her job, she would need to leave the country for around one month.

This would mean having to give up foster Mom duties until she came back. It also meant saying goodbye to her little boy.

Jacinda would shortly go to his new foster Mom at @catsandfrittatas where he would be in good hands.

When Suzie dropped him off at his new home Jacindo was not in the least bit shy when introduced to his new siblings.

Confidently exploring his new home.

And after a month away, Susie rushed right back to see her little man.

“I went to visit big boy Jacindo yesterday at the home of @catsandfrittatas, where he rules over the kitten room! He’s grown into a playful lovebug; super kissyface, bursts into purrs upon contact, and a social butterfly.”

“He was nipped last week and has been adopted already to a home with another cat and two little girls.”

Homey is going to bring that family so much joy.”

“It makes my heart happy.”
