He Had A Roof Over His Head, But The Reality Was He Was Homeless Long Before He Was Dumped On The Streets!

Some cats are actually homeless before they physically lose the roof over their heads. Although they have somewhere to sleep, they are no longer fed, and no longer cared for, then the inevitable happens.

They are cast out onto the streets, just like Ozzie was, a homeless cat, doing his best to survive.

Ozzie is a senior cat whose owners gave up on him long before he lost somewhere to call home. Left as skin and bone, with rotten teeth and a broken heart.

He had lost his right to food, love, and attention! Finally, his owner took the final step, and Ozzie lost his home too. From then on he was a senior cat, at 15 years of age, trying to survive, living on the streets of Vancouver, British Colombia.

He was found by rescuers curled up on a porch, his fur was matted, and the space between his legs was so tight that walking must have been agony.

Who knows how far this senior cat had traveled on foot before finding this porch, then calling it day and giving up.

The hard thing to take was that Ozzie had only been living on the streets for a couple of days. Which meant he had got into this state while supposedly in his owner’s care.
